203 Survey of The New Testament
              A study of the historical and cultural background of the New Testament and an introduction to the
              books of the New Testament. A study of the beginnings of Christianity from the birth of Christ to the
              end of the first century. Selected passages from the Gospels, Acts and the epistles are examined
              to present Christ, His mission, His message and His Church as revealed in the New Testament.

223 New Testament Epistles I
              A detailed study of Philippians I and II Thessalonians and Philemon. Emphasis is placed upon
              preacher-congregation relations and upon eschatology.

223 New Testament Epistles II
              An in-depth study of I and II Corinthians, showing Paul’s analysis and treatment of the varied
              Church problems which developed in Corinth.

223 New Testament Epistles III
              The general epistles of James, Peter, John and Jude. The historical setting and introduction to
              each book with its individual features. An investigation of their commonalities of setting, thought
              and life. An exposition of selected passages.

233 The Life of Christ
              A study of the life of Christ as revealed in the synoptic gospels, Matthew, Mark and Luke. An
              emphasis on the proofs of the divinity of Christ.

243 The Acts of the Apostles
              Historical background, founding and expansion of the early Church. The government, worship,
              work and the destiny of the Church as presented in the text of Acts and related scriptures.

253 The Gospel of John
              A Study of the Life and teachings of Christ as presented in the gospel according to John.
              Comparison is made with the Synoptic Gospels in appropriate places. Particular emphasis is
              given to the recurring themes of belief and unbelief.

263 Romans and Galatians
              An intensive analysis of the way of salvation as revealed by Paul to the Romans and Galatians.
              Emphasis on Christian doctrines, explaining justification by faith and grace in contrast to Jewish
              legalism

273 The scheme of Redemption
              A detailed study of the books of Ephesians and Colossians. An investigation of God’s scheme of
              redemption as the ‘Mystery of the Old Testament revealed in Christ and in the Church.

283 Evangelistic Epistles
              An exposition of I and II Timothy and Titus, commonly called the ‘pastoral’ epistles. Emphasis on
              their practical value as introductions for gospel preachers and for the organization and work of the
              church.

293 Hebrews
              A study of contrasts between the old and new covenants. An emphasis on the supremacy of
              Christ, the danger of apostasy, and the mighty deeds of the faithful. An examination of Old
              Testament typology as fulfilled in Christ.

303 Revelation
              A study of the apocalyptic sections of the Bible, with special emphasis on Revelation. Comparison
               is made to prophetic passages in Isaiah, Daniel and Zechariah. Examinations of the continual
              struggle between the forces of good and evil, and the ultimate triumph of Christ and the Church.
